Verification is optional. A platform administrator turns it on or off for the whole platform. When it is off, contracts can proceed without it; when it is on, it must be completed before a contract can be concluded.

The workflow

  1. Property Owner requests

The property owner picks a verification company, or leaves it open so every approved company can see an anonymised offer.

  2. Tenant consents

The tenant is asked for consent and can refuse. Work starts only after consent.

  3. Company accepts

A company clicks Accept Offer; the request is assigned to it and leaves the open queue.

  4. Findings and result

The company can ask for more information, upload findings securely and complete or reject the request with notes.

Statuses: draft, requested, open, assigned, in progress, additional information requested, completed, rejected, expired and cancelled.
